The APN is promoting the pilot course “Care+: Training for Informal Caregivers’, as part of the project of the same name, financed by the Project Financing Programme of the INR, I.P. (2025). This pilot course aims not only to empower informal caregivers, but also to contribute to the construction of a future training framework for informal caregivers.

The training is free, online and aimed at informal caregivers of people with disabilities.

It is organised in 4 2-hour modules, with the following schedule:

Module 1 – Emotional management and self-care: 10 December, 17h–19h

Module 2 – Basic techniques of care and prevention of physical overload12 December, 14h–16h

Module 3 – Rights, duties and supporting replies:17 December, 14h–16h

Module 4 – Communication, relationship and social inclusion: 19 December, 17h–19h
