Updated : 13/05/2025
The Lisbon City Council, through the Department of Relations with the Municipality and Participation, will hold a meeting on 22 May in the Archive Room of the Town Hall, under the theme “Service in Public Administration – Challenges and Opportunities”, which will be attended by Sónia Esperto, President of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Rehabilitation.
This initiative, integrated in the Service Function Valuation Program promoted by this municipality, aims to raise awareness of the challenges that the service faces, reinforce its impact on the image of institutions and provide the sharing of good practices that contribute to a more motivating and satisfactory work environment for all professionals who, directly or indirectly, play a crucial role in this organizational dimension.
By bringing together specialists, team managers and care professionals, it is intended to identify good practices that contribute to the valorization of care as a strategic function and point out ways for entities to adopt fairer and more effective policies in the development and valorization of this function, ensuring higher quality and efficiency public services.
