Indicators for participation in the Alert School! Competition 2025/2026 In the current edition of the “School Alert!” competition, 48 applications were received (15 from Category 1, 16 from Category 2 and 17 from Category 3), submitted by 45 schools, spread over 14 districts and the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, involving 2281 students and 267 teachers.
Notice of Opening of the Competition
The National Institute for Rehabilitation is pleased to invite all children of Pre-School Education and all students and all students of Basic and Secondary Education to participate in this Contest with ideas and projects for more and better inclusion in the School and the surrounding community, so that no one is left behind. In this year 2025, when the Single Strategy for the Rights of Children and Youth 2025-2035 was published (approved by Council of Ministers Resolution No. º 34/2025 of 28 February), children, pupils and students, with the guidance of their teachers, are invited to submit applications that privilege, along with the inclusion of persons with disabilities, active citizenship, participation and the culture of non-violence. Your participation is essential if you want your School not to exclude anyone and to be a place where all colleagues can have the same opportunities, in a School for All. Share your experiences. The "School Alert!" contest is included, since its origin, in the Inclusive Education project, through which it is intended that all students develop and actively participate in projects that promote the construction of more just and inclusive societies, within the framework of Democracy, respect for diversity and the defense of human rights. To compete, submit your project and Application Form to the school jury.
If your work is selected, your School must submit an application with the project and the Sheet of identification of the school and work carried out the INR, I.P. Applications can be submitted: - By e-mail, to inr@inr.mtsss.pt, - in hand, between 09:00 and 18:00, until 28 February 2026 or - by registered post, postmarked no later than the same date, to the following address:
