The Municipality of Loures, joins the celebration of the International Day of the Prader-Willi Syndrome.
May 30 is the International Day of Prader-Willi Syndrome, which aims to raise awareness of this rare genetic disease, characterized by hypotonia, insatiable appetite (hyperphagia), cognitive disabilities and developmental delays. It is considered essential to enhance the knowledge and awareness of the general public about the importance of promoting inclusion, highlighting the need for early diagnosis and continuous support to patients and families.
