Ideias com História is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the book «My name is Ana and I have Multiple Sclerosis», which will take place on the day 7 June 2026 at 12:00 at the Lisbon Book Fair – Blue Square.

This book is born from a witness in the first person and seeks to bring families, schools and community closer to a reality that is often difficult to explain: living with multiple sclerosis. Through simple, sensitive and accessible language, it helps to better understand the disease, its impacts on everyday life and the importance of empathy, knowledge and support.

More than a book about a health condition, "My name is Ana and I have Multiple Sclerosis" is a pedagogical resource designed to open conversations, fight wrong ideas and promote greater literacy about the disease, both for those living with multiple sclerosis, those in the process of diagnosis, family or friends.

We believe that this presentation may be of particular interest to entities, professionals and teams working in the areas of health, education, inclusion, support for people with multiple sclerosis and community awareness.

The presentation will be attended by the authors, Miguel Correia e Ana Filipa Gomes, and it will be an informal moment to share about the process of creating the book, its objectives and the role that this type of resource can play in raising awareness at all ages.
