Government approves new model of AMIM through Order No 8027/2025

Order No 8027/2025 was published in the Portuguese Official Gazette, approving the new models of medical certificate of multi-use disability (AMIM) with the Medical Board for Disability Assessment and with exemption from the Medical Board for Disability Assessment, annexed to this Order.

AMIMs shall be issued electronically, via an electronic platform, in accordance with Article 4(2) and Article 4b(1) of Decree-Law No 202/96, of 23 October, as amended and republished by the Decree-Law No 291/2009, of 12 October, in its current version, without prejudice to paragraph 2 of the aforementioned Article 4b.

Order No 446/2025 of 9 January is hereby repealed.

This Order shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication.
