Presidential Elections - PR 2026 - 18 January

As part of the partnership between the National Electoral Commission (CNE) and the Mechanism for Monitoring the Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (MeCDPD), a Handbook containing guidelines for voting for persons with disabilities was drawn up for voters with disabilities, members of polling stations, delegates of candidates, public services involved in the electoral process and professionals in health centres open on election day.

As in previous elections, there was a Video campaign Accessible Elections "Call to Vote", with a view to boosting the electoral participation of citizens with disabilities.

The leaflets and the video result from the joint work of the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., the National Election Commission (CNE), the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Internal Administration, and several Non-Governmental Organizations of Persons with Disabilities.
