Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences
The National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon, have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at implementing the International Project for the Promotion of the Human Rights of Persons with Disabilities - DRPI (Disability Rights Promotion International) - in Portugal.
The DRIP project is a capacity building and monitoring tool involving the strand of the study on national legislation and practices, as well as the strand of the analysis of how the media reflect and influence social perceptions and values about persons with disabilities.
The protocol provides for the translation and adaptation of DRPI methodologies and instruments into Portuguese, their edition by the INR, I.P. and their use in training-action actions.
