Today is the 47th anniversary of the National Institute for Rehabilitation, INR, I.P. A heritage of significant achievements of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their families, focusing on their full inclusion in the Society for All. An extraordinary contribution of the Revolution of April 1974, whose fiftieth anniversary we are celebrating. The INR is, inescapably, a decisive official entity, since its origin, for the Dignity, Autonomy, Participation, Citizenship, Quality of Life and Happiness of these Citizens. The permanent and demanding cooperation of the INR with all political, associative and social actors available for the fulfillment of these clearly humanizing and democratic objectives, is an emblematic mark of the work of the INR. The future of the INR with the wisdom of the past and the renewed energies of the celebration of this anniversary, will surely fully fulfill its noble MISSION, further reinforced with the commitments made with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
