A public consultation aimed at organisations and professionals related to the Social Economy in Portugal is open until 30 November. This initiative is part of the multinational project "Supporting the development of the social economy as an engine for growth", promoted by the European Commission (SG REFORM), OECD, CASES – António Sérgio Cooperative for the Social Economy and the Directorate-General for Social Security (DGSS).

The project, launched in June 2025, aims to create stronger structural conditions for the growth of the social economy in the country. Through a collaborative and evidence-based process, it aims to identify strategic priorities, define monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, establish consultation channels and develop a communication plan that values the role of the social economy in building a more inclusive and sustainable society.

The public consultation seeks input from experts, institutional representatives and other stakeholders in the sector to identify concrete challenges, needs and proposals. Active participation is essential to ensure that the National Strategy for the Social Economy reflects the diverse realities and visions of its protagonists.

Participate here and contribute to a stronger and more representative strategy of the Social Economy in Portugal.
