Committee on Employment and Social Affairs agrees on a report on labour market participation of persons with disabilities

The members of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs agreed on a report on the participation of persons with disabilities in the labour market and the non-binding report was adopted on Wednesday 27 January by 47 votes in favour, 1 against and 4 abstentions.

This report takes stock of the progress made by the European Union (EU) in implementing the United Nations Convention on Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) in the field of employment.

The UNCRPD binds the EU institutions and the Member States.
