The Library of the National Institute for Rehabilitation will hold its 7th online information session on February 25 between 4:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the Zoom platform.

The book will be presented ‘Can train’. This is a book that resulted from a project developed in a partnership between CRID® - Resource Center for Digital Inclusion, Boavista kindergarten and its Association of Parents and Parents. Written by the students of the Senior University of Marinha Grande, with illustrations made by the children of Boavista's kindergarten, it was translated and adapted into pictograms by Professor Célia Sousa and has graphic design under the responsibility of Maurício Hilgert.

Book concept for all, in a single copy brings together augmented text, braille and embossed images for blind or low vision children, pictograms for children with intellectual disabilities or limitations of another nature. It also has a QR code that refers to the website where the audiobook and videobook versions in Portuguese Sign Language for deaf children are available. The book includes access to music ‘Can train’ and a set of activities that allow the exploration of history.

Make your enrollment until 24 February. The link to access the event will be sent to all registered on that date. The session starts at 4.15 p.m., with maximum access to 90 participants in the room.
