National Monitoring Mechanism of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

On September 7th, it was published in the Diário da República a Statement No 12/2022 to appoint members to the advisory board of the national mechanism for monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Within the framework of Law No 71/2019 of 2 September 2019, as stated in Article 5(2)(a), the Assembly of the Republic has appointed the following representatives of the parliamentary groups to sit on the advisory board of the national mechanism for monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities:
- Marta Luísa de Freitas, for the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party;
- João Manuel Cottim Cunha Oliveira, for the Parliamentary Group of the Social Democratic Party;
- António Filipe Dias Melo Peixoto, for the Chega Parliamentary Group;
- Clarisse Maria Maneca Rabaça Monteiro, for the Liberal Initiative Parliamentary Group;
- Henrique Arantes Lopes de Mendonça, for the Parliamentary Group of the Portuguese Communist Party;
- Diana Vanessa Conceição dos Santos, for the Parliamentary Group of the Left Bloc.
