Event details

On 20.11.2024 we have a technical look at the Family Reception, the Civil Sponsorship and the project "Friendly Families" and also with first-person reports of families who experience these measures and project. Organized by Associação NÓS and CPCJ Barreiro, the event 'OPEN MIND - Hands on the Mass' will mark the Universal Day of Children's Rights, inviting the community to learn more about these topics.

The work day will take place in the Auditorium of the Secondary School of Santo André, in Barreiro, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and awaiting confirmation of the presence of Ms. Secretary of State for Social Action and Inclusion, Dr. Clara Marques Mendes.

The morning, moderated by friend and fellow journalist Filomena Barros, predicts a period of debate to reflect on the past, present and future from the point of view of children and young people of the Promotion and Protection System, bringing to this day as speakers:

The afternoon takes a moment to "Open the Mind, Open the Heart", with first-person testimonies from families, children and young people of the measures of Family Reception, Civil Sponsorship and the project "Friendly Families".
