It was published today, August 27, in the Diário da República a Ordinance 206/2020 which regulates the measure "ATIVAR.PT Traineeships".

This measure consists in supporting the integration of young people into the labour market or the retraining of unemployed people through the development of practical work experience, targeting, among others, people with disabilities and disabilities.

At the same time, a set of transitional mechanisms has been introduced to respond to the new unemployed and adapt to the exceptional context that the country is going through, namely with the extension of the scope of eligibility of the beneficiaries of the measure, with the calibration of age ranges and minimum registration deadlines, with the strengthening of the instruments to facilitate the conversion of traineeship contracts into open-ended employment contracts, and with the exceptional extension of the traineeship projects currently underway for an additional period of three months.
