Updated : 20/01/2023
The Directorate-General for Health (DGS), the Shared Services of the Ministries of Health (SPMS) and the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) launched last Sunday, January 15, the campaign "When to turn on SNS 24 or INEM?", which aims to raise awareness of the correct use of the lines "808 24 24 24" and "112" by the citizen.
Inadequate use of these lines can delay critical responses in time and occupy resources in the wrong way. For this reason, the campaign compares non-emerging health problems and life-threatening situations, thus clarifying when to call SNS 24 or INEM.
The campaign "When to turn on SNS 24 or INEM?It will be on the radio, billboards and digital platforms, and will have other educational supports such as flyers and posters, as well as sessions aimed at the general public. It will also be the first campaign presented in a new communication medium that uses INEM ambulances as advertising vehicles.
