Applications to the Poster Award 3 December, to Jaime Filipe Award for Technological Innovation and to Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities, 2019 edition are open until 23 October.
Poster Award 3 December
This competition aims to reward graphic work that, through a poster, raises public awareness for the recognition of the rights of persons with disabilities, celebrated worldwide on 3 December, International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It aims to contribute to the promotion of rights, social inclusion and the removal of all obstacles that hinder the participation of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society.

Jaime Filipe Award for Technological Innovation
This award aims to stimulate the production of knowledge and research in the areas of disability and inclusion, through the contributions of design, industry, accessibility, information technologies, communication and the economy. Its objective is the design and development of equipment, instruments, tools and technologies that promote the autonomy of persons with disabilities in the various areas of their daily lives, stimulating and advancing their physical, cognitive and social capacities and, consequently, contributing to an improvement in their quality of life.

Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities
This award aims to distinguish the work carried out in the area of social sciences and humanities by the students of the academic degree of master and doctorate who, through their research, contribute to the production of scientific knowledge about disability and rehabilitation, contributing to the fight against discrimination, to the promotion of equality opportunities and citizenship of persons with disabilities. It also aims to recognize the work that promotes the study of the impact of social and cultural barriers, behavioural and physical aspects in the inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities, as well as as well as other studies that promote the rights enshrined in the Convention on Human Rights People with Disabilities.
