On Tuesday 3 December, in the City of Santarém, the National Institute for Rehabilitation, in partnership with the City Council of Santarém, celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2019, under the motto “The future is accessible’, proposed by UN.

In the morning, from 10:00 am, sports activities will be developed for all, in the Municipal Sports Pavilion and, in the afternoon, from 2:30 pm, there will be debates, artistic performances and delivery of the INR Awards, at the São Francisco Convent.

The Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, the Secretary of State for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, Ana Sofia Antunes, the President of the INR, Humberto Santos, and the Mayor of Santarém, Ricardo Gonçalves, will be present.

This event also has the support of APPACDM of Santarém and the Special Sports Association of the District of Santarém.

These celebrations are open to the participation of all citizens.
