On September 19, 2025, Águeda will once again host one of the largest national events dedicated to inclusion and sustainable mobility. CERCIAG IN MOVEMENT, already in its 23rd edition, promises to transform the city center into a vibrant space of conviviality, experiences and discovery, bringing together thousands of participants from all over the country.

Created in 2003, as a result of a partnership between CERCIAG, Águeda City Council and Margens, the event was born as part of the European Year of People with Disabilities and the European Mobility Week. Two decades later, it has established itself as a national reference in defending the rights of persons with disabilities and promoting equal opportunities, while encouraging more sustainable, civic and inclusive mobility.

This year, CERCIAG IN MOVEMENT is once again part of the celebrations of the European Mobility Week under the motto “Mobility for All”. The theme reinforces the importance of creating accessible, affordable, safe and sustainable transport systems capable of serving all people, regardless of their physical, cognitive or socio-economic conditions.

Between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Largo 1o de Maio in Águeda will host more than 55 activities, ranging from sensory and sports experiences adapted to awareness actions on sustainable mobility and universal accessibility.

More than an event, CERCIAG IN MOVEMENT is a call for social change: an invitation to rethink boundaries, challenge prejudices and build a community that is truly accessible to all.
