Disclosure of Results - Technology Innovation Award Engineer Jaime Filipe

The National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., promoted the 2024 edition from Award for Technological Innovation Engineer Jaime Filipe It rewards technological innovation of technological inventions, projects or products aimed at contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of persons with disabilities.

The winner is the ‘O Mundo na Ponta do Dedo’ project of the Escola de São Gonçalo - Agrupamento de Escolas de São Gonçalo, de Torres Vedras, which will receive a pecuniary value of €8 000 (eight thousand euros), awarded by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., and the Os Musketeers Group, and a piece of art created by CEARTE - Centre for Professional Training for Crafts and Heritage.

The honourable mentions distinguish the projects: ‘‘Halo: Silently Controlled Language Generation’ by Unbabel and ‘One Arm For Margot’ by Renato Bispo and Ana Fatia. Each one is assigned the monetary value 1 000€ (one thousand euros) and a piece of art from CEARTE.
