Updated : 23/01/2025

Two women are visible in separate images. The one on the left side is in a kitchen where a stove, cabinets and objects for cooking food are visible. On the right side is a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter and underneath a text box with subtitling. The logos of EPAL (Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres), SERVIIN (Portal do Cidadão Dedo) and a symbol of Portuguese Sign Language are visible.

As part of the ‘Recipe with tap water’ project, EPAL – Empresa Pública das Águas Livres, provides the ‘Recipe Collection for all’, a set of recipes accessible to people with disabilities. The recipes have been adapted to be easily understood and executed by people with different types of disabilities, promoting autonomy and inclusion in the kitchen.

This initiative aims to promote greater community awareness of the need to bring information to all people, thus contributing to a more inclusive society.

The project has the technical support of the National Institute for Rehabilitation and has the partnership of ACAPO - Associação dos Blind e Amblíopes de Portugal, SERVIIN - Portal do Cidadão Dedo and APCB - Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Braga.

For the sharing and dissemination of this initiative, EPAL also has the LIGA Foundation, APCL - Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Lisboa, CERCI Lisboa, APSA - Associação Portuguesa de Synndrome de Asperger, and APPACDM - Associação Portuguesa de Pais e Amigos do Cidadão Defici Mental.
