MONTHLY MAVI REPORT – FEBRUARY 2025

The monthly activity of the Independent Life Support Centers (CAVI), which are part of the pilot project of the Independent Life Support Model (MAVI), is reported to the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., based on the completion of the monitoring grids by each of the institutions.
According to these monitorings, in February 2025, 1134 people funded by the ISS were supported in the 35 CAVIs in operation.
From the start of the project until 28 February 2025, a total of 5,373,331 (five million, three hundred and seventy-three thousand, three hundred and thirty-one) hours were provided, of which 1,932,727 (one million, nine hundred and thirty-two thousand, seven hundred and twenty-seven) hours were provided under the ISS, cumulated with 3,440,604 (three million, four hundred and forty thousand, six hundred and four) hours of personal assistance provided under the ESF by 30 September 2023.
In sum, during the month of February 2025, the number of active PIAPs increased, as did the number of newly concluded PIAPs. The number of suspended and terminated PIAPs has decreased. There has been an increase in the number of contract personal assistants and in the number of personal assistants providing support.
As of 1 March, the Cooperation Agreements between CAVI and the ISS, IP. began to be concluded, which allowed personal assistance to begin to be provided in accordance with the provisions of Ministerial Implementing Order No 415/2023 of 7 December 2023. By 1 January 2025, all 35 CAVIs had signed the Cooperation Agreement with the ISS, IP.
