An information session on the Sports + Accessible Award was held in the afternoon of 19 May, which is in the process of applying until 6 June 2025. This award, promoted by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P. (INR, I.P.), in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, I.P. (IPDJ, I.P.), stands out for giving special emphasis to projects involving children and young people.

The initiative, which took place in an online format, aimed to provide detailed information on the application process for this year's edition of the award, reinforcing the importance of accessible and inclusive sport.

The winning project will be awarded with 7,000 euros, in addition to 7 hours of online consulting specialized in volunteer management, in an additional value of 350 euros, offered by the partner Pista Mágica.

Each of the three priority areas of this edition - Training, Accessibility and Support Products, and Sports Development - will also be entitled to an honorable mention, awarded with €500 in sports equipment from Decathlon Portugal and 5 hours of consultancy from Pista Mágica, worth €250.
