PRR Opportunity - Purchase of electric vehicles - Extension of deadline for submission of applications

The deadline for submission of applications was extended until 23:59:00 of the deadline of 31/08/2025, subject to the financial allocation available for this purpose.

As part of the reprogramming of the RRP, approved on 13 May 2025 by a decision of the Council of the European Union, the Public Road Intervention Programme was increased by €6 million (six million euros) for the purchase of 2,000 electric vehicles.

This investment is assumed as an instrument that will provide the territories with complementary means to promote the mobility and movement of all people, with disabilities or conditioned mobility, in the community of the historic center/public space.

They are the final beneficiaries - the municipalities and municipal companies, which will develop a service adjusted to the characteristics of their territory, which will provide all citizens with disabilities or conditioned mobility with the use of electric vehicles in access to cultural, recreational and other initiatives of interest experiences and dynamics, existing in their communities.

The financial support is intended for the purchase of new 100% electric vehicles, namely mopeds and motorized motorcycles or wheelchairs, up to a maximum of €3,000 (three thousand euros) per electric vehicle purchased, a total maximum of 20 electric vehicles per municipality.
