Adapted sport continues to attract more and more practitioners, in the most diverse sports, and Adapted Surf has had, in recent times, a good acceptance.

The Buondi Surf Sessions intend to promote the sport with the support of Surf Addict (Portuguese Adapted Surf Association).

This action began on July 17 and had as stage the beach of Figueira da Foz. These classes are given by a group of monitors and, on this special day, those interested received the advice and indications of the North American Garrett McNamara, who became known in Portugal by challenging the waves of the so-called “Nazareth cannon”.

Great participation, lots of animation and great disposition marked this first stage.

This initiative will extend to Coimbra, Matosinhos, Viana do Castelo, Madeira and Carcavelos, inSeven more sessionsclasses open to the public and adapted surfing. The main objective is to bring surf to all Portuguese, this is already the fifth edition of the event.
