The Delta Heart, an association of social solidarity of the the Nabeiro Group, invited AAUPI - Association for Support to the Early Childhood Unit, to provide training on the model D.I.R Floortime (Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-based Model), addressed to education and health professionals, and family members of children with autism.

It is a global and intensive intervention model, aimed at children with early signs of Relationship and Communication Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Developed in the United States of America in the 1990s, involving different specialties such as Psychology, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy and also integrates families, as well as nursery professionals.

The training will take place between January 30 and February 1, in the auditorium of the Coffee Science Center (CCC), in Campo Maior and has the child psychiatrist Pedro Caldeira da Silva, clinical psychologist Cláudia Eira, occupational therapist Filipa Fragoso and speech therapist Bruna Nóbrega.
