Deaf citizens have a video call service platform in the contact centre every day for 24 hours. SNS24, with six Portuguese sign language interpreters.

This service has as partners, the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health, the National Institute for Rehabilitation and a Portuguese Federation of Associations of the Deaf.

Through this platform there is also the possibility of ensuring communication between health professionals and deaf users, in a situation of medical consultation, hospitalization or prophylactic isolation.
