Adapt Social + Programme
Updated : 29/07/2020
It was published in the Diário da República a ordinance that regulates the program Adapt Social +, one of the measures to support social responses to prevent and combat the COVID-19 pandemic provided for in Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme.
O Adapt Social + Programme is a system of incentives aimed at mitigating the increased costs of adapting the activity of social responses to the context of the COVID-19 disease.
This programme covers, in particular, the costs of purchasing personal protective equipment for workers and users, hygiene equipment, disinfection contracts, the costs of training workers, reorganisation of workplaces and changes in the layout of social response equipment.
O Adapt Social + Programme has as beneficiaries private social solidarity institutions, or legally equivalent, that have cooperation with the Institute of Social Security, I.P. (ISS, I.P.), for the development of social responses, as well as private entities that develop licensed social support activities and entities representing those sectors, for projects of their associates.
Applicant projects are submitted to the district centres of the ISS, I.P., where the entity has its registered office, using the appropriate form and sent to an electronic mailbox created for this purpose and available on the social security website.
