It was published today, October 16, in the Official Gazette, Ordinance 245/2020 that extends the contracts of the measures Employment-Insertion Contract for people with disabilities, Employment-Insertion Contract (CEI) and Employment-Insertion Contract+ (CEI+).

Under the ATIVAR.PT - Reinforced Support Programme for Employment and Vocational Training, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No 41/2020 of 6 June 2020, the Government undertook to adopt specific measures to improve the conditions for the integration of people with disabilities, as it is a public with greater difficulties in entering the labour market and more exposed to the current context of economic instability.

In this context, contracts concluded with recipients with disabilities and incapacity under the measures Employment-Inclusion Contract for persons with disabilities and incapacity, Employment-Insertion Contract (CEI) and Employment-Insertion Contract+ (CEI+), which are in execution on the date of entry into force of this Ordinance and whose total approved duration ends on 31 December 2020, may be extended by three additional months, upon application to the IEFP, I.P., by the promoting entity.
