Portuguese Film on Perseverance of Paralympic Athletes Awarded in the USA

The film ‘Persistence’ won the award for Best Director in Super Short Film of the month of October at the international New York Film Awards.

Produced by the Paralympic Committee of Portugal(CPP) It was directed by Davis Barros, starring swimmer David Grachat and coach Carlos Mota. According to the CPP, the film ‘depicts the perseverance that high-performance athletes engage in their daily training routine with the aim of achieving sporting success, within the framework of Tokyo Paralympic Games 2021“.
