Dissemination of the COVID-19 Handbook for Persons with Disabilities

The Manual Health and Daily Activities - General Measures for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19, Volume 2, is aimed at persons with disabilities, professionals in the area, their families and caregivers, as well as public services, and will be updated in an appropriate way to the evolution of the pandemic situation.
Key preventive measures to prevent COVID-19 infection and specific guidelines for visually impaired people, deaf people, deafblind people, people with intellectual disabilities and people with motor disabilities, which are the result of collaborative research by a group of experts and professionals, are presented in 8 chapters. Chapter V of this Handbook presents a set of useful resources, networks and helplines for people with disabilities, their families, caregivers and professionals, and some informative material on posters that illustrate the care to be taken and that can be downloaded for posting.
It should also be noted that the choice of this organisational format was intended to facilitate the consultation of users, according to their needs.
