Once again, CP - Comboios de Portugal joins the celebrations of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on December 3, with the main objective of contributing to a greater awareness of the issues related to this cause and mobilize for the defense of the dignity, rights and well-being of people with disabilities.

On this day, customers with special needs, and their companion, will be able to travel free of charge on Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Regional and InterRegional trains and urban trains.

To benefit from the free of charge, Customers must present, at a CP ticket office, the certificate of multi-use disability, the disability card, the disability card of the Armed Forces or the disability card issued by Associations, as well as make their seat reservation if they intend to travel on long-distance trains.

If you need assistance with boarding or disembarking, you must request SIM-Integrated Mobility Service, 12 hours in advance, by phone 808 100 746 or via SIM Request Form. This service is especially aimed at people who, for reasons of health, age or disability, have mobility difficulties.

It is recalled that the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., and CP - Comboios de Portugal, E.P.E., established, in March 2016, special tariff conditions for persons with disabilities who decide to travel on CP trains.
