Celebrations on December 3rd: International Day of Persons with Disabilities - Loures 2021

DIPD 2021: Under a lilac-toned background are 12 human figures stylized in yellow and white, alternately.

The annual commemorations promoted by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P. and the Office of the Secretary of State for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, took place during the 3rd of December, between 10h00 and 18h00, in the Municipality of Loures, host of this event, under the theme "Paradigm shifts in inclusion policies and the National Strategy for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2025":

  • Sports activities that took place throughout the day Peace and Friendship Pavilion and where the regulation of the Sport for All Programme, promoted in partnership by the IPDJ and the INR, was presented;
  • Presentation of multiformat children's book in the the José Saramago Municipal Library, authored by José Jorge Letria and André Letria and edited by Casa Pia de Lisboa;
  • Discussion session and sharing of the main paradigm shifts in disability inclusion policies in the last six years, and also on the perspectives embodied in ENIPD 2021/2025, which took place in the Palace Marqueses of Praia and Monforte, between 2.30 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. and which was attended by several people.
