Sustainable Development Goals | Libraries for Development and the 2030 Agenda

The BAD (Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists, Information and Documentation Professionals) and the DGLAB (Directorate-General for Book, Archives and Libraries) promote the 2nd edition of the Prize “Libraries: Development and the 2030 Agenda" The aim is to distinguish projects developed by Portuguese public libraries, in line with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Applications can be made until 1 July 2022.

The Award aims to recognize the driving role of Portuguese libraries in achieving the 2030 Agenda in Portugal. It has no monetary value, being a distinction confirmed by the award of a certificate.

Portuguese public libraries may apply for the Prize, regardless of their type, and only one application per library will be accepted.
