Training Artistic Mobility and Audience Development
Updated : 21/11/2022
The Directorate-General for the Arts (DGARTES) started in July this year, under Call 2 (Connecting Dots Competition – Artistic Mobility and Audience Development), a training and capacity building programme for Human Resources. It opened with the "Public Policies" Module, having carried out, so far, the Modules "Artistic and Programming Dimensions", "Artistic Project Management", "Funding Sources" and "Right in Culture".
This initiative aims to develop relevant skills in the design, presentation and development of artistic projects. Aware of the importance of greater preparation and training of human resources in the development of professional artistic projects in the future, DGARTES offers registrations to other entities, through the available vacancies.
On November 21st, the last Module entitled "Transversal Dimensions" begins, with Maria Vlachou (Access Culture), focused on the exploration of the concepts of democracy, diversity, access and inclusion in their relationship with Culture and in the way they articulate, with the aim of empowering free and active citizens. What do these concepts really mean, what does culture have to do with them, and how do they affect the work of cultural organisations in practice?
This training action is held on the 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th of this month, from 10am to 1pm, in Live Training format (via the Zoom platform), with a duration of 12 hours. Registration is free.
