On 19 January, Ministerial Implementing Order No 31-B/2023 was published in the Portuguese Official Gazette, updating the annual reference value of the basic component and the annual reference value of the social benefit supplement for inclusion, as well as the annual ceiling for the accumulation of the basic component with earned income.

Thus, the annual reference value of the basic component of the social benefit for inclusion, referred to in Article 18(1) of Decree-Law No 126-A/2017 of 6 October 2017, is set for 2023 at EUR 3581.08.

The annual reference value of the social benefit supplement for inclusion, as provided for in Article 21 of Decree-Law No 126-A/2017 of 6 October 2017, is set for 2023 at EUR 5858.63.
