In the current bathing season, 236 beaches have been awarded, of which 59 are river or lake bathing areas and 177 are coastal or transitional, corresponding respectively to a distribution of 24% and 76% of the total number of Accessible Beaches.

About 83% of the beaches provide an important added value: amphibian equipment for bathing and walking on the beach for people with restricted mobility, and most municipalities and concessionaires provide bathing assistance services.

Due to constraints some bathing areas candidate for the award, about 9 beaches, await the result of a survey or intervention to resolve the requirements necessary to obtain the award, so the information in the list now made available will be updated whenever there are changes that justify the review of the award.
