Applications are now open for the 2023 Edition of the Engineer Jaime Filipe Technological Innovation Award, which aims to stimulate the design and development of equipment, instruments, products and technologies that promote the autonomy of Persons with Disabilities in their daily lives, optimizing their physical, cognitive and social capacities in order to improve their quality of life and autonomy.

1st Prize of €10,000 (ten thousand euros) – awarded in equal parts by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P. and the group The Musketeers.

2 Honourable Mentions: non-monetary prizes with the support of the CEARTE - Professional Training Centre for Crafts and Heritage.

Applications: from 10 August to 17 October.

Since 2001, this initiative has distinguished, among others, support products, computer applications and research and development that promote the access of people with disabilities to education, culture, work and the enjoyment of leisure, art and citizenship.
