The monthly activity of the Independent Life Support Centers (CAVI), which are part of the pilot project of the Independent Life Support Model (MAVI), is reported to the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., based on the completion of the monitoring grids by each of the institutions. According to these monitorings, in October 2023, out of the 35 projects in operation, 1043 people funded by the ISS were supported.

From the start of the project until 31 October 2023, a total of 3,825,466 (three million, eight hundred and twenty-five thousand, four hundred and sixty-six) hours were provided, of which 384,863 (three hundred and eighty-four thousand, eight hundred and sixty-three) hours were provided under the ISS, combined with 3,440,604 (three million, four hundred and forty thousand, six hundred and four) hours of personal assistance provided under the ESF by 30 September 2023.

In sum, during the month of October 2023, the number of slightly active PIAPs. The number of suspended PIAPs also increased, but both the number of new and terminated PIAPs remained as compared to the previous month. The number of contract personal assistants and the number of personal assistants providing support has increased.
