It was published today in the Diário da República a Ministerial Implementing Order No 78/2024/1, which extended the deadlines for adapting the spaces where CACIs operate.

Considering that the objectives associated with the promotion of autonomy and inclusion, advocated in Ministerial Implementing Order No 70/2021 of 26 March 2021, have brought new challenges in terms of the model for structuring occupational support, with a strong impact on the organisation and installation of the social response by social and solidarity-based sector entities, it has proved necessary to extend the period of adequacy provided for in Article 34 of Ministerial Implementing Order No 70/2021 of 26 March 2021 by means of Ministerial Implementing Order No 92-A/2023 of 28 March 2023, for a period of 12 months.

However, maintaining the constraints on the adequacy of the operation of the CACI to the provisions contained in Ministerial Implementing Order No 70/2021 of 26 March 2021, it was necessary to carry out a new extension period implemented by this Ministerial Implementing Order pursuant to Article 1 of Ministerial Implementing Order No 92-A/2023 of 28 March 2023, for a period of 12 months.
