Application for registration of an NGOPD

O Decree-Law No 106/2013, defines the status of Non-Governmental Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (NGPDs) as national, regional or local in scope, as well as the support to be granted by the State to such organisations. The granting of the NGOPD status depends on the registration in the INR, whose procedure is defined in the Ministerial Implementing Order No 7/2014.
For the purposes of registration as an NGOPD, the following must be completed: Application form [DOC | 189 KB | 5 page(s)] and sent by e-mail to inr@inr.mtsss.pt together with all the documents identified in Article 2 of that Order:
- Copy of the statutes and the respective extract, published in the Diário da República (Portuguese Official Gazette) or, in the case of an association based in an autonomous region, in the competent official journal;
- a copy of the legal person identification card;
- Photocopy of the minutes of election of the bodies elected by direct universal suffrage and in effective office;
- Declaration issued by the competent body indicating the total number of members and the districts to which their action is limited, at the date of the application;
- Nominal list of affiliated associations, delegations or nuclei, if applicable.
