It is recommended to read carefully the Law No 93/2021 of 20 December 2021- general regime for the protection of whistleblowers, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law before a report is made.
Complaints in the External Complaint Channel can only be made when:
there are reasonable grounds to believe that the breach cannot be effectively known or resolved internally or that there is a risk of retaliation;
an internal complaint was initially lodged without being informed of the measures planned or adopted following the complaint within the time limits laid down by law;
c) The offence constitutes a crime or an administrative offence punishable by a fine of more than €50 000.
Before completing the form for collecting information on the report or complaint, you should review your rights and obligations by consulting the MANDATORY INFORMATION published.
When submitting the report or participation, you must set your password, confirm that you are acting in good faith, authorize the processing of the information and accept the terms of use of the channel.
You will then be directed to the complaint confirmation page, where you will receive a unique code, which must be stored in a safe place. This code together with your password guarantee access to the follow-up page of the report.
It is important to note that if you lose one of these elements, you will no longer be able to follow the progress of the research and answer any questions you may have.
Within seven days of completing and submitting the following form, you will receive a notification, at your e-mail address or by message posted on the e-platform, if anonymous, confirming receipt of the report or participation.
If you do not receive this email or message on the platform, please check that you have sent us the correct email address or contact us through the platform. If necessary, please re-complete and submit the following form with the correct e-mail address.
You can check the status of your participation or report and respond anonymously and confidentially to any questions raised by the Whistleblower by accessing the follow-up page of the report. To ensure anonymity, this is the only way you have to check the progress of the research, so it is recommended that you access it frequently until the process is complete.
