Public Ceremony of the Award of Technological Innovation Engineer Jaime Filipe - 2024 Edition

The National Institute for Rehabilitation, INR, I.P., invites to the public ceremony of the award and honorable mentions of the Engineer Jaime Filipe Technological Innovation Award - 2024 Edition, next day May 30, between 10am and 1pm, in the Orlando Monteiro auditorium of the INR, located at Avenida Conde de Valbom, n.o 63, 1050 – 053 Lisboa.
In honor of a personality of recognized dedication and proactivity in the exercise of citizenship and social inclusion of People with Disabilities, the Prize is developed in the area of technological innovation, with the assumption of contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of People with Disabilities.
O Award for Technological Innovation Engineer Jaime Filipe, 2024 edition, had as its winning project ‘The World at the Fingertip’ of the School of São Gonçalo - Group of Schools of São Gonçalo, Torres Vedras, which receives a monetary value of €8 000 (eight thousand euros).
The ‘Halo: Silently Controlled Language Generation’ by Unbabel and ‘One Arm For Margot’ by Renato Bispo and Ana Fatia were honoured and each received a monetary value of EUR 1 000 (one thousand euros).
The value is attributed, in equal parts, by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P., and by the Musketeers Group. The awarded projects are awarded with a piece of art awarded by CEARTE - Professional Training Centre for Crafts and Heritage.
