Applications for the 2022 Edition of the Engineer Jaime Filipe Technological Innovation Award are open from 22 July to 18 October, with the aim of stimulating and rewarding development, research and technological innovation in the area of disability.

The financial value of the 1st Prize is 10,000 euros, as a result of the partnership agreement between the National Institute for Rehabilitation and the group The Musketeers, which have been associated with the promotion of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, supporting science and research for inclusion.

The Prize distinguishes the inventions and products that contribute most to the improvement of the quality of life of People with Disabilities and has distinguished, among others, support products and computer applications that promote the access of people with disabilities to education, culture, work and the enjoyment of art.
