No próximo dia 21 de novembro, o Instituto Nacional para a Reabilitação (INR) em parceria com a NOVA School of Law, promovem a conferência “Vamos falar sobre o Direito de Participação das Crianças com Deficiência”. Este evento que decorrerá entre as 14h e as 17h30, numa iniciativa que se insere na missão do INR de promover os direitos das pessoas com deficiência, e visa dar voz às crianças e jovens, reconhecendo e valorizando o seu direito à participação e à escuta ativa. As crianças e os jovens serão os protagonistas deste encontro, com espaço para expressarem livremente as suas ideias, sentimentos e visões sobre o mundo que desejam construir. On 21 November, the National Institute for Rehabilitation (INR), in partnership with the NOVA School of Law, will hold the conference “Let’s talk about the Right to Participation of Children with Disabilities”. This event will take place between 14h and 17h30, in an initiative that is part of the mission of the INR to promote the rights of persons with disabilities, and aims to give a voice to children and young people, recognizing and valuing their right to participation and active listening. Children and young people will be the protagonists of this meeting, with space to freely express their ideas, feelings and visions about the world they wish to build. No âmbito da IX Semana da Cooperação Ibero-Americana, a Secretaria-Geral Ibero-Americana, a Iniciativa Ibero-Americana para Prevenir e Eliminar a Violência contra as Mulheres e o Programa Ibero-Americano para a Deficiência (PID) apresentaram, no passado dia 23 de outubro o Guia para Abordar a Violência de Género contra Meninas e Mulheres com Deficiência. O evento contou com a participação especial da cantora e Embaixadora Ibero-Americana Rozalén e da jornalista Inés Rodríguez. Participaram ainda: • Carmen Martínez Perza, Presidente da Iniciativa Ibero-Americana para Prevenir e Eliminar a Violência contra as Mulheres. • Jesús Martín Blanco, Presidente do Programa Ibero-Americano para a Deficiência. • Sandra Claros, beneficiária da Iniciativa Mulheres em Modo ON-VG. Natalia Guala fez uma breve apresentação do Guia de recursos, ações e instrumentos para combater a violência de género contra meninas e mulheres com deficiência, uma ferramenta que visa fortalecer as políticas públicas, melhorar a resposta institucional e promover a igualdade real para todas as mulheres e meninas, que foi desenvolvida ao longo do último ano com representantes governamentais das áreas de deficiência e violência de género, bem como com organizações da sociedade civil e organizações internacionais. O encerramento do evento contou com a participação de Rozalén, que interpretou duas canções. O evento contou com interpretação em linguagem de sinais (Libras - brasileira). As part of the IX Week of Ibero-American Cooperation, the Ibero-American General Secretariat, the Ibero-American Initiative to Prevent and Eliminate Violence against Women and the Ibero-American Program on Disability (PID) presented last October 23 the Guide to Addressing Gender-Based Violence Against Girls and Women with Disabilities. The event had the special participation of singer and Ibero-American Ambassador Rozalén and journalist Inés Rodríguez. In addition, the following participated: • Carmen Martínez Perza, President of the Ibero-American Initiative to Prevent and Eliminate Violence against Women. • Jesús Martín Blanco, President of the Ibero-American Disability Programme. • Sandra Claros, beneficiary of the Women in ON-VG Mode Initiative. Natalia Guala gave a brief presentation of the Guide to resources, actions and instruments to combat gender-based violence against girls and women with disabilities, a tool that aims to strengthen public policies, improve the institutional response and promote real equality for all women and girls, which was developed over the last year with government representatives from the areas of disability and gender-based violence, as well as with civil society organisations and international organisations. No passado dia 22 de outubro, o Instituto Nacional para a Reabilitação, I.P. (INR) marcou presença no Portugal Digital Summit 2025, que decorreu no Centro de Congressos de Lisboa, através da participação da sua Vice-presidente, Marina Van Zeller. Sob o tema “Mobilidade para Todos – Plataforma +Acesso: inovação ao serviço da inclusão e acessibilidade”, foi apresentada esta iniciativa desenvolvida pelo INR no âmbito do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR). A Plataforma +Acesso representa um importante investimento na transformação digital e na promoção da acessibilidade, reunindo informação e ferramentas que facilitam o acesso das pessoas com deficiência a espaços, serviços e recursos em todo o país. A intervenção do INR destacou o papel da inovação tecnológica como motor de inclusão, igualdade de oportunidades e mobilidade universal, reforçando o compromisso da instituição com uma sociedade mais acessível para todos. On October 22, the National Institute for Rehabilitation, I.P. (INR) was present at the Portugal Digital Summit 2025, which took place at the Lisbon Congress Centre, through the participation of its Vice President, Marina Van Zeller. Under the theme “Mobility for All – Platform + Access: innovation for inclusion and accessibility’, this initiative developed by the INR under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) was presented. The +Access Platform represents an important investment in digital transformation and promoting accessibility, bringing together information and tools that facilitate access for persons with disabilities to spaces, services and resources across the country. The INR's intervention highlighted the role of technological innovation as a driver of inclusion, equal opportunities and universal mobility, reinforcing the institution's commitment to a more accessible society for all.

Informa-se que, está disponível o curso online sobre recolha de dados sobre deficiência , desenvolvido pelo Banco Mundial em conjunto com o Programa Ibero-Americano de Deficiência (PID). O curso é gratuito e encontra-se aberto a todas as pessoas que queiram realizá-lo, sendo que o foco do público-alvo são os trabalhadores de centros estatísticos e membros de organizações de pessoas com deficiência. O curso encontra-se disponível na plataforma de formação do Banco Mundial, pelo que, em caso de nunca ter utilizado a plataforma, deverá efetuar registo e criar conta para o efeito. The course is free and is open to all people who want to undertake it, and the focus of the target audience are the workers of statistical centers and members of organizations of people with disabilities.
