Prize
“Celebrating diversity every day” - Joana Quental and Lígia Lopes.
Description of the image, according to the winners: For the background, we chose an orange – combined with white, warm yellow and garnet – a range of colours that visually accentuates the positive character of the message. We opted for a composition made by letters and shapes, avoiding the use of stereotyped images so commonly used, which expose and stigmatize people with functional diversity. All the elements were, therefore, cut by hand and without a previous drawing, assuming the uniqueness and beauty of their imperfections, symbolizing the identity of each one. The 3, on a larger scale, marks the day and makes more evident the irregularities of the contour, assuming the humanizing dimension that is intended to give the poster.
